Synopsis

A man, whose rich inner thoughts are hindered by a debilitating physical condition, experiences a fear of judgement despite having a thriving online relationship.

In the bustling city of New York, Bibid deals with the isolating impact of a tough physical condition that keeps his inner thoughts quiet. When a girl he chats with online suggests meeting up, Bibid has to handle the challenges of his condition, dealing with the fear of being judged, and seek a real connection. Now, he’s faced with the idea of meeting his online friend in person and showing the truth about himself. As he thinks about whether to take this big step, the story becomes a touching journey into accepting oneself and the powerful change that comes from embracing vulnerability.

Director Statement

In telling Omraj’s story, we uncovered a powerful truth: Bibid, our main character, isn’t just defined by his physical challenges. He’s a person with dreams and worries, just like anyone else. While we initially focus on Bibid’s limb difference, the heart of this film lies in exploring the shared human experience. Using Bibid’s unique perspective, we want to emphasize that, despite our differences, our emotions are universally relatable.

Our goal in shaping this narrative is to depict Bibid as more than just his limb – he’s a complex character with aspirations we can all understand. By immersing the audience in his world, we aim to create a connection between them and Bibid’s feelings, underscoring the idea that, despite external disparities, we all share a basic humanity. This film is an empathetic journey, prompting viewers to acknowledge the common threads that unite us amidst our diverse paths.
