An Iranian female singer struggles to sing solo, but the government won’t let her do that.

Director Statement

What would you do if, one day, the government forced female vocalists to stop singing in public? Does it sound like the 1984 of George Orwell? But that is what has been going on in Iran since 1979.
My film is the story of a young Iranian female vocalist who has gone through a lot to be able to sing solo. The film is about being able to freely sing a song without the fear of ending up in jail.
