NAIFF – Nepal America International Film Festival 2024, presented by the Nepal America Film Society, is scheduled to take place from June 20-23 at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center and Greenbelt Cinema in Maryland.

The festival will culminate with a Red Carpet event, followed by the Closing and Award Ceremony that will feature the screening of the closing film, “The Red Suitcase” by Fidel Devkota. This special ceremony will also honor exceptional films as judged by our esteemed juries and recognize all participating films. Finally, certificates and tokens of appreciation will be presented to our dedicated volunteers and supporters whose contributions have made this festival possible.

Join us for a Master Class on Ethnographic and Participatory Filmmaking led by Michael Brown, Professor of Creative Industries within the Faculty of Business and Creative Industries at the University of South Wales, UK.

The panel discussion sessions, as in previous years, are hosted in partnership with The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
