NEPAL AMERICA FILM SOCIETY After careful consultation with our team and advisors regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our filmmakers, our partners, our sponsors, and our volunteers – we have made the difficult decision to cancel Nepal America International Film Festival, scheduled for June 26-28 in the Greater DMV area (DC/Maryland/Virginia).
Following the increased and overwhelming cases and concerns about the COVID-19 virus: both nationally and internationally, we feel that this is the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our fans and supporters, but we also would like you to be back for our 2021 Film Festival. So please stay safe.
We have already stopped all submission acceptances to the film festival for 2020, if you have questions about your film and submissions please reach out to us directly.
We are also exploring options to coordinate an online experience during the original dates of the Film Festival. Updates will be shared on https://nafilmsociety.org/ as well as our social media pages.
