The 2018 Nepal America International Film Festival begins with the opening ceremony and Red-Carpet Gala event followed by the opening film. The festival will be attended by special guests from Embassies and cultural organization. The festival will recognize all the invited artist, filmmakers, guests, Nepali Diaspora community leaders, entrepreneur, and local organization leaders.
The last day of the Festival, we will host the closing ceremony which includes Red Carpet and Award Ceremony followed by the closing film. Films selected by juries will be awarded and the participating films will be recognized in the closing ceremony. Certificate and recognition will be awarded to all the volunteers and supporters.

Nepal America International Film Festival (NAIFF) is an annual film event organized by Nepal America Film Society, Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization based in Maryland, that brings together more than 5 thousands film enthusiasts from Maryland and greater Washington region including filmmakers, volunteers, community leaders, film and community organizations, businesses and companies of both Nepalese and global origins.
The film festival is taking place from 18-20 May 2018 at AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, Silver Spring and Regal Hyattsville Royale Stadium 14,Hyattsville, Maryland. The Festival showcases all genres of films including feature length, documentaries, animation, experimental and shorts.
It is primarily focused on films from Nepal made by the Nepali and Non-Nepali filmmakers under the Nepal Panorama section. The films from the Americas, South Asia and other parts of the world will also be highly considered. We also partner with Global Peace Film Festival Florida for the Sidebar section.
